  • Requisition type – application or pipeline

(1)  The Application option means that a candidate who applies will go right into the Active Applications tab and start a process that can be managed/advanced/rejected by the recruiter .

(2)  The Pipeline option is for a process in which the applicant goes into the Recruitment tab where there are tools to search for and invite those candidates to apply to appropriate positions. In this scenario, it becomes more of a talent pool. Candidate must complete the registration flow based on the requisition settings (email and first/last name). This might be useful if you’re not currently hiring that role, but you want to keep a pool of candidates. You can set the resume as optional or required.

  • Whether the opening is a new position

  • If the opening is budgeted.

  • Make the opening confidential and only visible by permission. This permission was previously referred to as “Public or Secured.”

  • Publish or post the opening to the career portal and job boards. This permission was previously referred to as “Published or Unpublished.”

  • Use long registration. The long registration form requests an address in addition to the basic registration fields.  If you don’t use long registration, it’ll just ask for name, email and phone number.

  • Request a resume. If you select this, you have the option to make the resume required.

  • Allow the candidate to initiate Quick Apply, adding a "Quick Apply" button next to the "Apply Now" button when an applicant previews the opening. This was previously referred to as the “Message to Recruiter” option.

  • Include Cover Letter to give candidates a text box to type or copy/paste a cover letter.

  • Allow applicants to reapply.

  • Put the opening on hold. This will add an "on hold" label to the application but does not remove the posting from career portal or job boards.
