  • Drive candidate engagement and new applicants to current openings 

To send messages on the Candidates page, you must have message templates built in the Recruit Messages section. It is important to have both the an emailed and text version of the message template complete.

To create messages targeting recruits: 

  1. Go to Manage System System. 

  2. Go to Message Templates Templates. 

  3. Go to Recruit Messages Messages. 

  4. Click on + Add New to create your template template.

You will 'll see that there is 's a section for the email template and for the SMS template. Recruiting messages will go to the recipient via text message if they have opted into text messages and Email if they have not opted into text messages. Having both template versions means the recruiter/hiring manager does not need to know the preferences of communication. based on the send option you select for the message.

5. Create the template of communication to the recruit

6. Once the template is created → Click on , find the candidates you want to message by going to Recruitment → Candidates.

7. Click Advanced Filters to start filtering the list list. 

9. Select your desired filters and click Submit. In the header bar of the list of recruits,

10. The candidates list will filter. Click on the check box checkbox to select all or select one recruit at a time individually.

11. Select Scroll to the Bulk Actions at the bottom of the page, select Message to Recruitsfrom bulk actions and click Go  Go.

12. Then choose your template and click GO 
You can edit the template as needed, or simply click Send Message after review. Choose your template from the Template dropdown. Edit the template as needed.

  1. Select how you want to send your message. A radio button selection gives you four different options:

  • Send only an email to all of the <total number of> selected candidates

  • Send only a text message to the <#> candidates who have opted in, and NO communication to the remaining <#> candidates

  • Send a text message to the <#> candidates who have opted in and an email to the remaining <#> candidates

  • Send an email to all <total number of> selected candidates and in addition a text message to the <#> candidates who have opted in

  1. Click Submit to complete.
