Sell your brand! Shout out your benefits! Add a teamwork picture!  JOB AD Optional, found on the Job Description tab on an Opening, will compliment the job description on the Current Openings page. There is always a link at the bottom of the published opening allowing the candidate to review the original job description as well.

Note: Job Ad (optional) will also default in Indeed.com’s XML feeds. Customers using Indeed Easily Apply: It is important to include a short description of the job so the job seeker. The link to the full job description is not active on Indeed.

Best best practices for Job Ad (optional) feature.

  • Include a brief summary of the position - 1-2 sentences

  • Basic minimum Requirements

  • Salary rate

  • Benefits

  • Optional - Open Interview or hiring event information

Example of Job Ad (Optional) without enough information. Job boards may block job ads without enough information in the description. Additionally, a candidate scrolling though job boards will not see enough information about the job to grab their attention and will more than likely keep scrolling.
