FAQ: Can We Delete the "Review Indeed Apply" Stage?
Occasionally clients ask us to remove this stage and simply allow the candidate to go through the process without admin user intervention. However, this stage is critical to the process as it's the “handshake” between Indeed and OnShift Employ. Here's what happens:
While on Indeed, candidates complete the already-established stages that integrate from OnShift Employ to Indeed. Stages such as Resume Upload, Qualification Questions and Self-Identification all go out via the integration and are completed as part of the “Easily Apply” feature. When done, the candidate clicks “Submit” and the information comes over into OnShift Employ, creating the candidate profile, and populating/completing those initial stages within the candidate process. The admin user then reviews the information and determines if the candidate should continue or be rejected.
If the candidate is invited to continue, clicking the green “Review Indeed Apply” button does two things:
Advances the candidate to the next stage.
Automatically triggers an email notification inviting the candidate to log in to OnShift Employ and continue the process.
Without the green “Review Indeed Apply” action, the candidate would have no way of finding and continuing the process within the OnShift Employ system, as they’ve only been on Indeed up to this point.
