OnShift® Employ Administrator User's Guide
Account Profile Settings
Access, update and control your administrator account information from your profile menu. Once logged in, click the profile icon next to your name on the upper right. This will open a sidebar menu on screen.
My Account
Your profile is not public. Add as much information as you prefer or as little as required. If desired, your company can create an OnShift Employ email alias to direct emails to, rather than your company email inbox. Enter the alias in the System Email field.
Default Send Email: The email address selected from the dropdown will be the default email address for all messages you send through OnShift Employ. When sending messages, there will be an opportunity to select another email address or select a default Employ SMS number if your company has locations in multiple states.
Security Settings (2-factor authentication)
Two-factor authentication is available upon request. While OnShift Employ is secure and encrypts sensitive data, two-factor authentication works as an extra security layer that will reconfirm your identity when logging in.
Select Enable Two Factor at the top of the page.
Choose from three options on how to receive your second authentication code:
Google Authenticator
SMS Text Message
Email Verification
Click Enable under the option you select, then fill out any additional fields.
Create a challenge question and answer that OnShift Employ Support can refer to in the event you ever lose access to your second-factor account.
Click Submit.
Change Password
Change your password.
Message Settings
Manage notification subscription settings. OnShift Employ sends email notifications to the Admin Assigned for the various actions described below.
Notifications for an opening or from an assigned applicant are sent only to the Admin Assigned. Reassigning an application(s) to another recruiter or hiring manager will transfer notifications to that administrator.
Messages from Candidate – The candidate replied to an emailed message sent through Employ.
HR Stage Started – For example, the candidate completed the application package and is currently in the “Review Application” stage.
Pre-qualification Alert – Be alerted when a candidate answers a qualification question incorrectly.
Note: the qualification question must have Admin Alert enabled. See Manage System - Qualification Questions.
Application Reassigned to You – When an application is reassigned to you.
Document Uploaded – The candidate uploads a document, such as a certification.
Background Check Completed – Integrated background screening results. First Advantage subscription required.
Admin SMS Notification – Notification for each candidate text response.
Admin Effort Notification – Indeed Apply, Employ Quick Apply, and new resume drop flow.
