Once the applicant has completed Form
I-9, the application process
section for Form I-9 will update to read Requires input with a red flag.
Click Requires
input to open the Section 2 template.
OnShift Employ's software combines (flattens) Section 1. Employee Information and Attestation and Section 2: Employer or Authorized Representative Review and Verification into a legible, compliant PDF to save locally or print if needed. To review the completed I9, return to the application process to click on the magnifying glass to the left of Form I9.

Once signed, the Status will change to Completed.

For those contracting OnShift for E-Verify
Reminder for clients contracting OnShift to E-Verify: When a new hire is using a valid document from List A containing photographs, you will still need to upload a photocopy of the document to the candidate’s files for E-Verify photo matching. Examples of most commonly used List A are U.S. Passport or Passport Card, Form Form I-551 Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card.→
