VIDEO Employ Overview  : Overview of the Employ application

Applications tab defaults to display applications within the most recent 6 months that you have permission to view.  This will be all applications currently assigned to you, as well as any you have been granted explicit permission to view. Clearing the date filter will display past 6 months.

Active, Hired, Rejected

Note that there are three tabs: ActiveHired, and Rejected
This manual will focus on Active Applications, though the same functionalities (filter, search, sort, export application list, etc.) would apply to the Hired and Rejected tabs.

Each line item (row) denotes an individual application.  A single person may have submitted multiple applications.  An application in this context is defined as an expression of interest to a particular position.  It does not necessarily mean that the application form has been completed.  In the below example, this applicant has started two applications.  The one on the bottom is ready for review.  The one on top is still working through the early stages of the process.

An application that is ready for review will generally include instructional text, such as “Review Application”.  There are many stages that require action from the administrator.  We’ll discuss this in a little more detail in the section Processing Applications.
