Schedule automated application reminders, interview invites, etc to be sent out at a specific time.

Visit → Manage Systems → Message Templates → Nag Messages tab

CREATE A NEW NAG MESSAGE

For this example we are creating an Application Reminder for Detroit Applicants only.

→ Click green ADD button

New Message
-> Title - internal use only
-> Message Type - Client Reminder (there is only one choice)
-> Click Submit

LOAD A TEMPLATE

Title – internal nag message title

Subject - subject line sent to the candidate or recruit

Body – message templates should have populated. Any edits made here will not update the original template. Any edits made to the original template will no automatically update this nag message.

FILTERS – pinpoint candidates that need the message

Application Created is Between

              For example: a candidate selects a job to apply to and completes 2 of the 4 stages. A reminder might be sent for applications not completed that were created between 5-30 days. After the 30th day, the automated reminders stop sending to the candidate.  

Application modified is between

              To continue the Application reminder example assigning modified dates excludes applications between the created date range because there has been an action on that application.

Job is -> to send message to all job titles do not select any job title. Leave the field as-is.

Location is -> to send message to all locations do not select any locations. Leave field as-is.

Who should receive these nag messages:

Stage is -> select stage(s) a candidate might not have completed that may need a reminder.

              For example: candidate has 5 or 7 days to accept offer, you might set up an Offer Letter reminder – select the stage “Offer Letter Receipt and Acceptance”

Milestone is -> select milestone(s) that candidates may have not completed that may need a reminder to complete.

For example: for an application reminder selecting “Application Package” will send a message to all candidate’s that have not completed stages before the Application Review stage.

Scheduling  -> choose what day(s) to run email.

It is recommended to limit how often a message is sent – too many will just be ignored.
