Bulk Actions

Also know as Multi-select Functionality.

On the left side of the applicants, you’ll see a checkbox next to every row.  These enable multi-select functionality or bulk actions. The top box will select all rows.

Selecting items through either method will enable the Bulk Action Dropdown, which is hidden until any box is checked.

Click on the dropdown to reveal the mass action options.  Select the action you would like to take and click “Go” to take the action.

Bulk Action Options and What They Do

  • Reject – Reject the applications.  You will be prompted to select a disposition reason.  The disposition reason will be applied to all selected applications.  Any message associated with the rejection can either be overridden or sent, but the choice will be applied to all selected.  After complete, all selected applications will be moved to the “Rejected” tab.  This is useful for applications that have not been completed (rejection reason: Application Inactivity) or maybe the perfect candidate has been hired and you need to reject the other applicants (rejection reason: Job Filled Prior to Review).

  • Message to Applicant – Allows you to send either a message template or freehand message to all selected applications.  This option is useful for sending an “Application Reminder” to applicants who abandoned the process before fully submitting their application or possibly an "Open Interviews Invitation" to a group of new CNAs.

Employ communicates with job candidates based on their preferences. If a candidate prefers email, they will only get emails, and if they prefer texting, they will only get text messages. When sending messages to many candidates at once, it's crucial to include content in both the email and text message. Importantly, if you forget to fill in either the email or text message box, the candidates who prefer that communication method won't receive anything. This ensures that candidates receive messages the way they want and emphasizes the need to provide content for both communication channels.

  • Email Application Form – This functionality allows an admin to share an application form with another admin in the system by email.  The system will send one email per application.  This is useful for those organizations that have no expectation of their department supervisors, logging in to process applications, and just wish to review the application form.

  • Download Forms – Bulk export resumes, application forms, W4 Forms or all.

  • Assign Labels to all those selected.

  • Reassign – Reassigns the selected applications to another admin in the system.  Assignment appears in the “Recruiter” column.  This allows applications to appear on the list of administrators who otherwise have no oversight of applications.

Reassigning an application that you otherwise have no oversight of will make it disappear from your list!

  • Mark as Active (Hired and Rejection tab) actioned only by Full Access Admin and Client Admin. Permission may be added upon request from a supervisor/manager.

Checkboxes

"Check all" will only select those applications on the immediate page.  It will not select applications on any subsequent or previous pages. Expand the number of visible rows on the bottom right corner.

If the action seems to be taking a long time or the page times out, this may be a result of a slow internet connection. Try reducing the number of rows to bulk action.
