The Application lockout feature is defaulted on candidates who have been hired to allow HR to confirm each former employee is eligible for rehire.

A lockout may be enabled by your company to limit how often a candidate may reapply.

Example: OnShift's behavioral assessments may only be taken once every six months. Lockout set to 180 days would forbid an applicant who may have been rejected for a low assessment score from reapplying for six months.

Lockout applies to only the exact Job ID number. It does not prevent a candidate from submitting applications for same job title at a different location.

Contact OnShift to enable application lockout.

To override lockout:

Click Candidate Details.

On the popup, under the Action column, click the padlock next to the position.

Alternatively, click “Override Lockout” from the left side of the candidate’s rejected application.
