Clone (Transfer) an Applicant to Another Current Opening

Is the candidate a better fit for another job opening? Did they apply to the wrong requisition or do they prefer another facility? Follow these steps to clone or transfer the applicant to another current opening.

Note: An application must be Active to clone. Cloning will move the candidate’s application process at the stage their original application was in.

1. On the Applications view, click the View icon to the right of the candidate’s name.

2. On the candidate's recruit details, click Candidate Details on the left.

3. In the Action column:

   1. Unlock the application (required if cloning the same job title).

   2. Click the double paper icon for the application you want to clone.

4. Click Clone next to the requisition you want to clone the candidate's current process to.

5. After clicking Clone, you’ll be brought to the cloned application. You’ll see a few updates here:

   1. The candidate details in the center will show all applications the candidate is now applied to.

   2. The count of Applications Submitted on the upper left is updated.

   3. A note about the clone appears at the bottom left, linking to the original application.

6. Click the job title to open the transferred candidate's new application process.

You can also access a candidate’s application history and clone their application through their profile listing in the Candidates tab.
